In-practice teaching - Thurs 19 Sept 2024 7:00pm (AEST)

The role of learning facilitator and teacher are probably the most apparent of all the roles of the general practice supervisor. Teaching in the general practice setting includes the brief corridor consultations when the registrar calls for help, casual tearoom chats, and the formal educational activities as part of quarantined teaching time. And everything in between!

This webinar will focus on the key elements of the teacher role – helping the learner identify their learning needs, delivering high quality teaching, and fostering a ‘culture of learning’ in the practice. In particular, the session will cover both the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of effective teaching, and discuss key resources to support this activity.
