Men's health outcomes are shaped by a range of
social and cultural factors that can influence how men engage with primary care.
Delivered in partnership with Movember and co-facilitated by ACRRM, this
practical webinar will equip GPs and Rural Generalists with the knowledge and
skills to engage men more effectively using evidence-based, gender-sensitive
communication approaches.
Participants will explore the social and cultural
influences on men's health behaviours and interactions with GPs, gain a
practical understanding of Movember's MALE engagement framework
(Make a Connection, Agree on a Path, Leave with a Lesson, Empower for Change),
and learn how to apply it in everyday consultations. The session will also
examine common challenges faced when engaging male patients and provide
practical strategies to strengthen communication, build trust, and support
better health outcomes.
This webinar is delivered in partnership with
