Online Deadly MHST; Substance Misuse - 30/03/2023 - 31/12/2025

Deadly MHST aims to assist GPs in providing culturally appropriate mental health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. The overall aim of the package is to provide GPs with quality training in mental health assessment, care planning and review for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders presenting with mental health/substance misuse co-morbidity in general practice.
It further aims to assist GP's in breaking down existing barriers between them and their Indigenous patients, with multi-skill training for knowledge, abilities, skills and attitudes required to access, manage and provide ongoing mental healthcare and prepare high quality General Practitioner Mental Health Treatment Plans.
