X-Ray - Emergency Interpretation Essentials Online

A systematic review of the fundamental principles in Emergency X-Ray interpretation. A certificate is issued electronically upon completion.

The goal of the course is to provide practitioners with the knowledge and confidence to review radiographic techniques and recognise normal variants and radiographic patterns of trauma and injury commonly encountered for the cervical & thoracolumbar spine, pelvis, upper & lower limbs, skull and face.  Each module can be viewed 6 times and will expire in 60 days.

Learning objectives
1.       Outline the fundamental principles on chest acquisition and emergency x-ray terminology.
2.       Diagnose common and life threatening conditions on emergency radiographs.
3.       Apply image findings in clinical scenarios to inform diagnosis and management.
4.       Identify normal anatomy on emergency radiographs.
 
Assessment information
Online pre-test with cases demonstrating pathology that will be covered throughout the course.  
Quizzes at the end of modules.
Online post test evaluation after completion of the course to reinforce learning.
