Paulina works for The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and Epworth Healthcare, plus assists with the Victorian Virtual Specialists Clinics (VVSC) in the field of allergy. After completing her General Paediatrician training, Paulina worked in Melbourne and rural locations for 7 years. She then returned to RCH for more training and to pursue her passion to become an Allergist andamp; Immunologist. Paulina has led the development of the RCH Clinical Practice Guidelines for IgE and Non-IgE food allergies, has supported the updates in the anaphylaxis guideline, plus many other protocols and guidelines. She also participates in research via Epworth healthcare and at RCH

The training scenarios (based on the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) emergency response activities) include can't intubate/can't oxygenate; management of haemorrhage; management of anaphylaxis; and severe behavioural disturbance.This program will guide participants through the current guidelines, review pharmacological options and considerations, and enable real world practical skills development in a constructive and supportive environment.This is a course for Rural Generalists, taught by Rural Generalists
