Introduction To Population Health

In recent years there has been an increasing emphasis both in government policy and amongst medical organisations on using a “population approach” in both the prevention and treatment of illness. This course will introduce the principles of population health and their application in rural general practice, using a chronic disease model to illustrate the application of population-based interventions to individual patient care. It is designed specifically with the needs of practitioners in rural and remote areas in mind.
