Women's Health: Menopause

This 2-hour online course covers the essential aspects of menopausal management, including diagnosis, prescribing, and treatment strategies, with a particular focus on hormone therapy.

Through case studies, clinical analysis, and links to key resources and organisations, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to confidently advise and treat women experiencing menopause. The course also provides an in-depth clinical analysis of treatment plans and strategies for mitigating complications.

On completion of the course, participants will be able to:

Recognise and provide advice and treatment to women experiencing menopause in relation to:

  • Long term risks of the menopause.
  • When investigation is indicated for menopausal symptoms.
  • Management options, including lifestyle, hormonal, and non-hormonal.
  • Benefits, risks, and contraindications of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT).
  • MHT options, including combinations and delivery methods.
