Introduction to Population Health

Population health is about more than statistics, it’s about understanding the patterns, systems, and conditions that shape health in your community. In rural and remote practice, clinicians often see these patterns first: the rising cases, the barriers to care, and the solutions that can make a difference.

Introduction to Population Health helps you connect clinical care with community action. You’ll explore how social determinants, data, equity, and cultural safety come together in practice and how small, local steps can drive broader change across rural health systems.
