ruralEM forum

Are you a member of ACRRM, a registrar planning to sit the AST-EM StAMPS, medical student or junior doctor on a rural pathway thinking of doing your AST in emergency medicine, a rural FACRRM with a significant caseload of emergency medicine, or an urban based doctor looking to refresh your knowledge and skills before undertaking rural locums?

If so, the College's online 'ruralEM forum' may be just the platform to help you with all those clinical management decisions that make EM so interesting and the text books often don't adequately address.

The ruralEM forum is facilitated by highly experienced FACRRMs who have "been there, done that" over many years of emergency medicine practice. The forum will present new and challenging cases every 3 weeks that are chosen to cover most of the AST curriculum over the course of the year. Summaries of the important learning points will be made available as educational activities to provide a valuable resource for your future practice and exam preparation!

If you are interested in moderating a case or would like more information you can contact the College by emailing education@acrrm.org.au or calling 07 3105 8200
