GPs encounter patients with a history of allergies or those experiencing anaphylaxis for the first time. Being well-informed about anaphylaxis and its management will enable GPs to respond swiftly and appropriately to save lives and prevent further complications. This course follows different patient presentations to review the specifics of recognising and managing anaphylaxis based on the type of allergen, and other complications including patients on Beta blockers, patients in a procedural environment, and patients experiencing anaphylaxis following immunisations.
