The history of AI is included and various research results are discussed and analysed. Interesting study comparisons of AI and HI on correct diagnosis of dermoscopic images are included and the analysis of cliniical dermoscopic images are rated with varying success depending on particular lesions. Management decisions for dermoscopic diagnosis and legal implications are mentioned. The future development if AI and HI suggests a combination of human intelligence and artificial intelligence will lead to the optimisation of patient outcomes.
