The Emergency Medicine Education andamp; Training (EMET) Program, funded through the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care’s Specialist Training Program, is designed to enhance the clinical capability and confidence of rural General Practitioners. As part of this initiative, EMET delivers structured, targeted up‑skilling sessions. A team of four Fellows of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEMs) regularly visits key hospitals across the Wheatbelt to conduct refresher and advanced training workshops for local GPs and emergency medicine staff. Each program is tailored to the specific educational needs identified by clinicians in the region, ensuring that the content is both relevant and clinically applicable. Sessions integrate interactive case discussions, simulated clinical scenarios, hands‑on procedural training, and the use of manikins, fostering a comprehensive and practical learning environment that strengthens both technical skills and clinical decision‑making in emergency care. andlt;grammarly-desktop-integration data-grammarly-shadow-root="true"andgt;andlt;/grammarly-desktop-integrationandgt;
