Dr Bakr will take students through the complexities of facial and neck anatomy. This interactive course will be delivered by Zoom over a 6 week period, with reinforcement quizzes at the end of each week (delivered by ACAM’s e-skilled platform). This course is suitable for those interested in cosmetic medicine, skin cancer medicine or those who would like to increase their overall knowledge of facial anatomy. On completion of the lecture series and quizzes students will be awarded a certificate of completion.

This infant and early childhood mental health assessment and management eLearning course focuses on the identification, assessment, care planning and support required for children aged 0-5 at risk of or experiencing mental health difficulties. The course is built around a General Practice Framework of: - knowledge of common child mental health conditions - engagement skills required when interacting with a child and their family - practical skills for child mental health assessment and managementThis is a self-paced online course. Content is delivered using written, visual, audio, and video media, starting at a foundational level then building on knowledge via reinforcement and introduction of new concepts at each Module. The course design, delivery and assessment has been co-designed with GPs and parents. Children's voice has been integrated throughout the course. Key skills covered in this course include - Active Listening - Safety netting - Prioritising. - Clinical interviewing of a child and parent - Biopsychosocial formulation. - Referral as part of Better Access pathway - developing a mental health treatment plan - Psychoeducation.

Supporting Children’s Resilience in General Practice provides you with a conversation guide to assist your work with patients as parents, as well as a rationale for why GPs should conduct preventative conversations with parents about their children’s social and emotional wellbeing. This course is based on the understanding that parental, family, or social adversity can have a direct impact on children’s social and emotional wellbeing, and that GPs are well placed to hold preventative conversations with parents to buffer children from these impacts.Throughout this course you will consider how parental, family and social circumstances impact on children’s wellbeing, and how support can best be tailored to foster resilience in the lives of children.The course examines preventative opportunities and entry points that exist in your engagements with parents, and provides examples of situations where:a parent presents with circumstances or issues that impact on the childconcerns are expressed by a parent about a child’s behaviour the GP holds concerns for the social and emotional wellbeing of a child after consulting with a parent.

The EDGE24 course focuses on essential skills in critical care and extended emergency medicine skills. The course will be delivered in a series of 24 modules and explores a variety of topics including acute chest pain, headache, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, acute poisoning, first trimester bleeding, serious injury, orthopaedic injury, acute red eye, epistaxis, the sick child, mental health emergencies and managing pain. Each module will have a particular focus on emergency presentations in a rural setting.
