This quiz is designed to test the knowledge of GPs who have completed the Advanced Dermoscopy Masterclass, a course for GPs involved in skin cancer care, particularly those with an interest in advanced dermoscopy. GPs frequently encounter pigmented and non-pigmented lesions that are diagnostically challenging. Early and accurate identification of high-risk melanoma subtypes—including Spitz naevus, nodular, desmoplastic, amelanotic, scalp, lentigo maligna, mucosal, and acral melanomas—is critical to improving patient outcomes and reducing morbidity.

GPs are often the first health professional to detect a patient’s melanoma, and are actively involved in the management of this disease. In this recorded webinar from leading experts, GPs will develop their skills in identifying pigmented lesions through dermoscopy, as well as having a better understanding of the role of surgery and radiotherapy in the management of melanoma.

Sepsis is a time-critical condition that GPs play a vital role in recognising and managing. With over 55,000 Australians affected annually and more than 8,700 deaths, early detection and timely intervention are essential to improving outcomes. This webinar will provide GPs with practical, case-based insights into recognising the early signs of sepsis, understanding the consequences of delayed diagnosis, and optimising referral and escalation pathways. It will also address the GP’s role in supporting survivors and families post-discharge, including recognising post sepsis syndrome and coordinating ongoing care. By participating, GPs will strengthen their ability to detect sepsis early, improve referral decisions, and enhance long-term patient recovery and quality of life.

Chest pain is a common, high-risk presentation in general practice. The 2025 Australian ACS guideline introduces updates on triage, early ECG, risk tools, and referral thresholds, yet many GPs have limited recent ECG training and uncertainty in distinguishing STEMI from mimics or managing non-diagnostic tracings. These gaps, compounded by time pressure and limited access to serial ECGs/troponins in primary care, especially rural settings, risk delayed STEMI recognition, unsafe reassurance, and medico-legal consequences.

The recommendations from the GPMHSC report highlighted the need for training that extends the knowledge and confidence of GPs in diagnosing and supporting patients with mental health conditions. The GP Mental Health Skills Masterclass is tailored to GPs and covers diagnostic and interviewing skills, psychological and psychopharmacological therapies and implementation of a comprehensive and holistic treatment based on a patient-centred approach, thus leveraging on the core competencies of a GP in managing Mental Health issues. The course will be delivered in stages in an interactive format with videos, quizzes and case studies. The GPMHST case studies focus on common presentations (e.g. addiction, trauma, anxiety and depression) that are patient-centric Thus, the GPMHST has a broad appeal to all GPs by being time and cost-effective. The course has already been delivered to 1000 + GPs across Australia with feedback incorporated at each stage of development. By addressing the needs of Australian GPs we hope to make a difference in mental health and well-being across Australia. andlt;grammarly-desktop-integration data-grammarly-shadow-root="true"andgt;andlt;/grammarly-desktop-integrationandgt;

This webinar is highly relevant to General Practitioners (GPs) due to the direct implications for maternal and fetal health in emergency situations. Obstetric emergencies such as postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) and HELLP syndrome present significant risks, necessitating immediate recognition and management to avert severe consequences. Through patient case studies and interactive polls, participants can apply their learning directly to clinical practice.
