Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) remains one of the most time-critical and clinically challenging presentations. The updated Australian clinical practice guidelines introduce important changes in risk stratification, ECG interpretation, high-sensitivity troponin use, pharmacotherapy and reperfusion pathways. This interactive, case-based eLearning course translates the latest recommendations into practical clinical decision-making across diverse care settings including rural and remote. Through a patient case study, you will apply contemporary guidance to early recognition, structured assessment, escalation decisions and evidence-based management of ACS.

TheMastering Sleep Apnoea: A Virtual Locum Masterclass for Primary Careprogram has been designed to provide practitioners with practical tools for investigating, diagnosing, and treating sleep apnoea in general practice. This program will cover how to coordinate multidisciplinary care to improve patient management and benefit. Participants will be guided through a real patient case and learn how to proactively identify at-risk patients and recognise the condition in earlier and later stages through common and subtle presentations. The program will also help practitioners to review evidence-based interventions and individualise treatment that considers patient factors and preferences. The session will also cover the interpretation of results and provide practical advice on how to communicate in a sensitive and respectful manner, ensuring consideration of the patient in all steps. To support engagement and shared decision-making, this program encourages patient education that aims to increase adherence and follow-up. This session is chaired by A/Prof Ralph Audehm and co-delivered by Prof Brendon Yee, an expert respiratory and sleep physician. The program will include case-based discussion and interactive polling and Qandamp;A that allows for engagement and active learning, providing practical strategies to translate evidence into clinical action. Structured self-reflection and patient review activities support practice change and alignment with CPD requirements.
