This clinical audit is designed for medical practitioners to build on the knowledge gained from previous studies of arthritis conditions.The audit provides the opportunity to review and analyse previous clinical management of patients with arthritis conditions, develop a plan to educate and increase skills and knowledge in this area and implement this plan. Participants will apply their course learning to identify and manage arthritis conditions, demonstrating increased skills and knowledge in their management of patient cases. The audit includes a critical case analysis of each case. The Skin Pathology Evaluation Program enables general practitioners who refer skin pathology to Australian Clinical Labs to submit their provisional diagnosis on cases in which histological evaluation is needed. Monthly reports will then be delivered online to all participants, highlighting performances against those of your peers, in contrast to the state and national benchmarks, while maintaining confidentiality to all clinicians. The report includes downloadable charts to assist participants attain a positive performance in the program. To successfully qualify for CPD points, participants will maintain registration in the program for minimum of 12 monthsand submit a recommended 40 histologysamples.A reflection activity is also a mandatory requirement for program completion.

This course focuses on the application of dermoscopy for suspicious skin lesions. Participants will acquire knowledge in the identification and management of melanocytic nevi based on dermoscopic features. This course focuses on the classification of melanocytic naevi based on dermoscopy pattern, morphology, colour, and pigment distribution. The course outlines dermoscopic features of congenital naevi and acquired naevi and the risk of melanoma development is addressed. Melanocytic naevi are discussed with how they appear on different skin types. Dermoscopic images are used throughout the presentation to discuss the different classifications of congenital naevus and appropriate action to manage them.
