Migraine affects approximately 4.9 million Australians and is a major cause of disability and reduced quality of life. Despite its high burden, many patients remain underdiagnosed and undertreated, particularly in primary care where GPs are the first point of contact. With the emergence of new therapies such as CGRP inhibitors and gepants, there are increasing opportunities—but also new challenges—for optimal migraine management. The Future of Migraine Management: Practical Diagnosis, Treatment and Management masterclass is designed to equip GPs with the latest evidence-based strategies to diagnose, manage, and prevent migraine in real-world practice. The session will focus on refining diagnostic approaches, integrating emerging therapies, managing medication overuse headache (MOH), and caring for complex patient groups including pregnant patients and those with comorbidities. Delivered as a live virtual webinar by a multidisciplinary expert faculty, the masterclass will combine case-based learning with practical clinical advice. Participants will complete structured post-event activities, including a self-reflection and patient review exercise, to reinforce the application of knowledge and support continuous professional development.

This 90-minute online masterclass explores practical and policy-relevant dilemmas in the management of moderate atopic dermatitis (AD), with a particular focus on areas where clinicians must make nuanced, real-world decisions. The session centres on three key domains:• Optimising referral pathways from general practice to dermatology, including clear criteria for referral and strategies for effective interim care during specialist wait times.• Determining the most appropriate timing for the initiation of biologic therapy in moderate AD, including discussion of patient selection, disease burden, and the risks and benefits of earlier intervention.• Benchmarking Australian practice against international standards, highlighting how clinical evidence aligns—or fails to align—with TGA-approved indications and PBS reimbursement frameworks.With a distinguished faculty comprising local and international experts across dermatology and general practice, the session will combine presentations, case-based learning, and panel discussion. It aims to equip GPs with practical tools to guide timely and evidence-informed management of moderate AD, while addressing broader issues of access and policy.

Healthed Digital Activities (podcasts, articles, videos) provide evidence-based, high quality educational content with input from GPs, specialists, researchers, medical educators, industry, educational institutions, and other sources.These activities are developed by a medical faculty based on GP survey data and questions, delivered by GPs and specialists on a wide range of topics, which allows the GPs to learn a diverse range of professional knowledge and skills, apply them to their clinical practice. Cancer is a significant public health issue in Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, cancer diagnoses are projected to surpass 200,000 annually by 2034, while in New Zealand, 25,000 people are diagnosed each year. This escalating burden presents substantial challenges to the healthcare system, contributing to rising costs and increasing demand for oncological care services. A key contributing factor to cancer risk is diet. The Western diet, characterised by high intakes of processed foods, saturated fats, and animal protein, ranks high on the Dietary Inflammatory Index (DII) and promotes chronic inflammation. This chronic inflammatory state can contribute to carcinogenesis through immune-driven mechanisms that promote cell proliferation and survival, alongside the generation of oxidative stress.In contrast, whole food plant-based (WFPB) diets, rich in fibre, antioxidants, and phytonutrients, exert anti-inflammatory effects and mitigate oxidative stress, thereby lowering the risk of various cancers. Adopting a WFPB diet can enhance treatment efficacy by improving immune function and promoting long-term survival for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
