This interactive eLearning course addresses key knowledge and skill gaps in the assessment and management of suicide risk among veterans—a population with significantly elevated suicide rates post-discharge. It equips GPs to recognise and respond to veteran-specific mental health concerns, such as PTSD and depression, through targeted questioning, sensitive conversations, and appropriate use of support services like Open Arms. The course also supports GPs in developing effective follow-up care plans and navigating complex veteran health systems to ensure comprehensive care.

The use of performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs)—including androgens, SARMs and peptides—is increasing among Australian males, often driven by body image concerns, fitness goals and social pressures. Despite the illicit nature of many PIEDs, users are often well-informed and motivated to minimise harm. However, they frequently encounter healthcare providers with limited understanding of these substances.General practitioners are uniquely positioned as trusted professionals to support these patients. This webinar, delivered by Healthy Male, will equip GPs with practical, evidence-based knowledge of the pharmacological actions, risks, and psychosocial factors associated with PIED use. Participants will build confidence in managing male patients using these substances and improve their ability to provide effective, patient-centred care.

Acne remains a common challenge in Australia, often leading to discomfort, lifelong scarring, and psychological distress. Timely and effective treatment is essential to minimise these impacts. Topical therapies are the cornerstone of acne treatment, with multimodal approaches recommended to enhance efficacy and reduce antibiotic resistance. Updated guidelines now recommend topical fixed-dose combination treatments as the first-line therapy for mild-to-moderate acne.³ This mini-audit includes a 1hour pre-learning module, followed by a mini-audit where you apply your learnings by reviewing the management of three patients with mild-to-moderate acne.
