Gove District Hospital is seeking an experienced GP
Obstetrician to join our small collegiate team of rural generalists.
Together we run a 30 bed remote
hospital, on Yolgnu land in the far North-Eastern corner of Arnhem Land, NT; we
deliver about 150 babies per year, in addition to servicing a busy ED,
outpatients, elective and emergency theatre and a mixed ward. We are a rural
generalist training heartland, with a strong team of registrars, junior doctors
and medical students on hand to help us deliver exceptional medical care.
Fully subsidised housing in a remote tropical
paradise, and a competitive salary package are available for the successful
applicant. We are looking for someone motivated and passionate about remote
medicine, and respectful of and interested in caring for one’s of the world’s
oldest living cultures.
Flexible work options,
including part-time, and FIFO arrangements are definitely negotiable. We
