IMPACT: Seize this exciting opportunity and lead as the Senior General Practitioner of Valiant Health, an emerging health services brand. Backed by a team of
specialists in business administrative services, you will be supported to focus
on what counts as a GP, whilst enjoying enhanced earning potential and increased

Together with the existing team, establish a General Practice, curate and lead a new Practice team,oversee the General Practice on a day-to-day basis, and work towards both initial and training site accreditation. With a firm foundation laid, you can then lead as Primary Supervisor, educate the next generation of GP Registrars, and benefit from broader organisational growth, as future scaling milestones are achieved. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL
INCLUDE:
Practice
Planning & Launch - Advising on practice needs,
standards, and milestones, and working collaboratively towards refinement of
clinic policies, procedures, processes, systems, and resources, to assist with
launching a General Practice, in accordance with RACGP standards.
- Engaging in stakeholder
consultation, project meetings, and project communications.
Clinical
Practice Operations - Overseeing, and engaging in all
aspects of clinical practice, including:
- Delivery of high quality,
proactive, preventative medical care.
- Assessing, diagnosing, and
treating clients at the General Practice level.
- Clinical team workforce planning
and coordinating.
- Liaising with practice team,
internal back of house specialists, and other stakeholders.
- Balancing profitable workflows
with high standards in quality and safety.
- Development of practice training,
health education, professional development plans, and future supervised
practice frameworks, to suit the needs of patients, the practice, and the
team.
- Monitoring, reporting, and driving
standards of practice performance.
Leadership
& Education - Advising on, implementing, and
leading in activities relating to practice and team compliance with ethical,
quality, legal and accreditation standards.
- Employing effective leadership
methods to foster a workplace culture that embraces person-centred delivery of
services, learning and innovation, professionalism, ethical conduct, teamwork,
diversity, inclusivity, team wellbeing and safe work practices.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO
SUCCEED: It is a requirement of this position
that you hold, and provide evidence of: - MBBS qualification & FRACGP/
FACRRM for 5+ years, AHPRA full and unrestricted GP registration.
- Experience as a lead General Practitioner, overseeing other clinicians, and
Current
CPR certification.
Demonstration of the following in your
application will be highly regarded: - The knowledge necessary for
significant contribution to the establishment and ongoing development of a
General Practice that seeks accreditation against RACGP standards.
- Proficiency in managing,
coordinating, leading, and motivating a clinical team, with a commitment to
the ongoing development of healthy, respectful and engaging workplaces.
- Leadership and educator interests,
with participation in CPD aimed at improving performance as a GP, leader
and/or educator.
- Experience and accreditation as a Supervising Trainer of GP Registrars, OR
- Advanced medical education competencies in general practice training, OR
- A keen interest in pursuing
accreditation as a supervisor and supporting GP Registrars.
