Position: Medical Officer Private Practice (Baralaba) Location:Baralaba The Medical Officer Private Practice works with the Medical Superintendent Private Practice to provide safe, efficient, quality medical services for the patients of Baralaba Multi-Purpose Health Service. The Baralaba Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) is a modern facility offering 24/7 acute inpatient care, residential aged care, outpatient services, and an emergency department. It features spacious rooms with ensuites and rural views, plus efficient Emergency and X-ray areas. The facility offers comprehensive care and telehealth services, minimizing travel for patients. About you: To be successful in this role you must have: · Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. · Enrolment/acceptance into a GP training program that will facilitate a provider number with access to Medicare benefits for the private practice. · Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) certification, and enrolment and maintenance of ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) program of appropriate College. ·Please see the role description for the list of non-mandatory requirements. What we offer: Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $261,699 (MOR1-3); $248,889 p.a. (MOR1-1) comprised of: • A salary between $182,106 - $193,468 p.a.
