Position:
Senior Medical Officer
Location:
Rockhampton Hospital
The Senior Medical Officer works to provide quality medical
care whilst working semi-autonomously in an outreach clinic to deliver
exceptional patient care to general rheumatology patients.

Rockhampton Hospital, a 305-bed facility, is the main
referral hospital for Central Queensland. Specialist Medical Services include
Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Palliative
Care and many more.
About the
role:
Join a specialist rheumatology team to
help deliver a new, high-quality outpatient service within your scope of
clinical practice granted by the Credentialing Committee in the Rockhampton
Hospital and CQHHS facilities in which they perform this work.
About you:
Mandatory
qualification/s: - MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the
Medical Board of Australia.
- Proof of registration as a Specialist General Practitioner with the
Medical Board of Australia.
Salary information:
Total
remuneration value of up to $77,343 p.a. is comprised of: - An hourly rate between $91.84 - $100.78 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
- Motor Vehicle Allowance
- Professional Development Leave and Allowance
- Over-time and on-call allowances
- Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (Granted Private Practice
arrangements)
