Albury Wodonga Health are seeking a General Practitioner (GP) Registrar - Advanced Specialised Training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join our team until August 2025, with the possibility to extend to February 2026.

About the Role

The General Practitioner (GP) Registrar - Obstetrics & Gynaecology provides a high- quality clinical service to O&G patients. This involves developing clinical judgement, acquiring procedural skills and establishing clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills in order to achieve the relevant outcomes. This will require gaining clinical experience, knowledge and expertise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as required for the Associate Training Program (Advanced Procedural) (APTP). 

Focus will be on developing Obstetric procedural skills, Gynaecologic procedural skills and communication skills in a busy clinical environment.

You will be trained to become an independent practitioner able to work in different settings regionally, rurally and remote, as some of our ACCRM GP's already do.

You will be part of a supportive work environment in a GP obstetrician led Level 5 Birth suite, supported and trained by GP Obstetricians, FRANZCOG trainees and FRANZCOGs.
