Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist / Provisional Fellow) 

 

Blackwater Hospital is a 16-bed facility incorporating four aged care beds, providing acute inpatient, accident and emergency, pharmacy, and outpatient services to the community. The Blackwater team is getting ready to move into a brand new facility. 

Medical services in CQ Health are provided as one service, multiple sites. If variety is key for you, then this is the role! 
 
As the SMO (RG/PF) you will provide services to all CQ Health sites, including (but not limited to) Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald, Biloela, Capricorn Coast Hospitals, Mount Morgan, Baralaba, Theodore, Blackwater.
 
 
Blackwater is just a short drive to Emerald, heart of the Central Highlands region, with all the facilities you will need, while also boasting year-round events such as the Gemfields Festival, Gala in the Garden, Emerald 100 Race Day plus the iconic Derby Day just to name a few. 

What we offer: 

Salary information: 

Total remuneration value of up to $447,197 p.a. L18-L25 is comprised of: 

  • An annual rate between $204,206 - $244,248 p.a. 

Total remuneration value of up to $377,233 p.a. L13-L18 is comprised of: 

  • An annual rate between $176,802 - $204,206 p.a. 

Total remuneration value of up to $341,469 p.a. L13-L14 is comprised of: 

  • An annual rate between $176,802 - $182,330 p.a. 

  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 

  • 17.5% leave loading 

Additional Benefits Include:
