About us:
The Theodore Multi-Purpose Health
Service is a 10-bed, 26-staff facility that provides medical, surgical,
paediatric, obstetrics, accident and emergency, palliative care, radiography,
and pharmacy services. Visiting services include drug and alcohol and child
health services. Allied health services include visiting physiotherapy, speech
and occupational therapy, and radiography. Aged services including respite care
and community care are available through the Multi-Purpose Health Service and in
addition to the privately owned, six bed aged care hostel. Recent improvements
have been made to the kitchen and the staff quarters at the
facility. About the role:
The Medical Superintendent Private Practice (MSPP) will be
responsible for the provision of safe, efficient quality medical services to
inpatients and outpatients of the Theodore MPHS including the provision of
24-hour emergency department coverage.
This position also has the right
to Private Practice allowing for generation of significant income through fee
for service primary care. The surgery is located at 27 Ninth Avenue, Theodore.
An opportunity exists to maintain selected skills at Springsure Medical and it
is intended the Medical Superintendent Private Practice will maximise his or her
professional development as part of this appointment. About you:
Mandatory
qualification/s: MBBS and hold general
registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia,
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Must be a current
registered trainee with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or
Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. What we offer:
Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $289,041 p.a. is comprised
of:
• A salary rate between $204,910 - $210,332 p.a. (MSR2-1 –
MSR2-2)
• A salary rate between $182,106 - $199,213 p.a. (MSR1-1 –
MSR1-4)
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
