medicine. The Position
As a Rural Generalist at Blackall
Hospital, you will provide comprehensive medical care both within the GP
practice and the Emergency Department. Your core schedule will run Monday to
Friday in the GP practice, with on-call ED support typically required one night
in every two. This is an excellent opportunity for doctors who thrive in diverse
clinical environment s and are passionate about improving healthcare access in rural communities.
This role is
designed to offer both challenge and reward. You’ll encounter a broad range of
cases, develop your clinical skills in a unique setting, and experience the

Placements are available from April
onwards, with both long-term and short-term blocks considered to suit your
availability. This flexibility allows you to balance your professional
commitments with personal priorities, making it easier than ever to gain
