Broughton Clinic in Port Broughton is
seeking full time or part time General Practitioners to provide ongoing care to
the community.
Port
Broughton is a coastal town located on the northern extent of South Australia’s
Yorke Peninsula, close to the Southern Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley wineries
and the Copper Coast.

Port Broughton is a delightful small community with
beautiful sunsets, fishing and boating, R-12 Area School, hotel, delis, cafe,
IGA, 14-acute-bed local hospital, on site helipad, tennis, footy, netball,
cricket, golf, bowls and a wonderful welcoming community.
The clinic provides 24/7 care to the local hospital with a
mostly elderly population. The full range of emergency presentations are
managed but nights and weekends are not usually too hectic. We have onsite
point of care testing and we undertake basic radiology, with full lab and
radiology including CT available in Port Pirie and Wallaroo, both a bit over
half an hour away. We have support from SAVES as desired (SA Virtual Emergency
Service- video consulting) over night, and there is capacity but not necessity
for shared obstetric care, anaesthetics in Wallaroo or Port Pirie and whatever
special interests you might like to develop.
Full-time or part time capacity could be considered.
Hours:
Practice: Monday to Friday 8:30am
to 5:30pm, Saturday 9-11:30am
Hospital: 24-hour care
Qualifications considered / Experience:
Vocational Registration or non-VR
GPs under Level 3 Supervision
Recent emergency experience, or
prepared to upskill
Ability to gain credentials as a
General Practitioner - GP Emergency Medicine
Radiology licence or willingness
to obtain ideal
Package
The practice offers flexible arrangements and a negotiable
remuneration package with salary range of
$350,000-$450,000.
