Remuneration:
Remuneration value up to $433,203 p.a.
comprising salary between $210,332 p.a.- $238,511 p.a. (L18-L23) or
remuneration value up to $498,784 p.a. comprising salary between $251,527 p.a -
$266,677 p.a. (L25-L27); employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%),
annual leave loading (17.5%), attraction and retention incentive allowance,
professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks
p.a., professional indemnity cover, plus overtime and on-call allowances. Applications

Proserpine
Hospital | Mackay Hospital and Health Service
The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of
two facilities: The Community Health Campus - Cannonvale and the Hospital
Campus - Proserpine. The hospital is a
35-bed acute hospital, that offers a number of specialty inpatient and
outpatient services, including obstetrics, endoscopy and visiting specialist
clinics and theatre lists.
Proserpine Hospital
is a busy Level 3 facility with approximately 20,000 ED presentations per year
and 260 births. Rural Generalists working in the Whitsunday Health Service
develop a broad scope of practice in a collaborative, dynamic environment and
have the opportunity to use and develop their skills extensively.
The Community Health
Campus offers a range of Community Health services provided by a
multi-disciplinary team. The Whitsunday Heath Service covers the Whitsunday
Regional Council area, Midge Point and Bloomsbury and services a population
upwards of 25 000.
Your opportunity
Provision,
development and maintenance of effective, efficient, and suitable clinical
services at the Proserpine Hospital and to contribute to the continual
upgrading of medical education and dissemination of knowledge to staff and
patients. The position will coordinate as necessary with other personnel within
the hospital, other hospital services and agencies to ensure optimum patient
care, and to ensure integration of services in the wider community.
