A well-supported rural hospital in
South East Queensland is seeking a Rural Generalist or ED SMO for flexible locum
coverage now through to 24 August 2025. Located just 90 minutes from Brisbane,
this is an ideal opportunity for doctors looking for meaningful regional work
without the isolation. You’ll join a small, efficient team
providing ED and ward coverage in a low-complexity setting. Overtime is paid for
shifts over 12 hours, and the environment is calm, collaborative, and
well-regarded by previous locums. Full onboarding, credentialing, and travel
logistics are managed by Prescript to make the process seamless. A competitive daily rate is offered based on experience, with return flights and up to $180/day reimbursed for accommodation and vehicle costs.
