We are seeking a dedicated Visiting Medical Officer (VMO)
General Practitioner to join the team at Macksville District Hospital. This role
is ideal for a clinician committed to delivering exceptional patient care and
contributing to high-quality rural health services. Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board
of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner, a GP in training, or via an
overseas trained specialist pathway. Candidates with Joint Consultative
Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA) accreditation or a Diploma of Rural Generalist
Anaesthesia (DRGA) will be highly regarded. Alternatively, recent clinical
experience in Emergency Medicine, along with completion of or willingness to
undertake recognised emergency skills courses such as ALS2, will also be
considered. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact
in a supportive regional setting while further developing your clinical
expertise.
