Combine meaningful rural medicine with one of Australia’s most desirable coastal lifestyles in this GP/ED locum opportunity at Margaret River Hospital. Working within a supportive rural hospital environment, you’ll provide emergency and inpatient care to the local community and tourist population. The role involves an eight-hour daily commitment with a 25% night shift component, offering variety and the chance to practise broad-scope medicine in a beautiful regional setting.
Placements are available from 24 –
30 November 2025 and from 21 December 2025 – 8 February 2026. Competitive daily
rates are offered, assessed upon review of your CV, with accommodation provided
and travel arranged or reimbursed. You’ll also receive full end-to-end support
from Prescript, including credentialing, travel coordination, and ongoing
on-call assistance throughout your placement.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need AHPRA registration, proven rural emergency experience, and current ED CME certifications such as ALS2, APLS, EMST or equivalent. FRACGP and/or FACRRM qualifications, or HBMP assessed as senior CMP, are essential.
