Family Practice Katanning is seeking a full-time General Practitioner to join
our well-established, family-focused practice. This exciting role includes
Emergency Department on-call duties within a thriving agricultural community,
offering the chance to immerse yourself in genuinely diverse and rewarding
rural medicine.
Located in Katanning—just 280 km from Perth—our practice
provides comprehensive general practice services alongside 24-hour Emergency
Department coverage at the local hospital. The hospital operates 24/7 with
rostered doctor coverage and clinical support from the Emergency Telehealth
Service (ETS) to assist with fatigue management and acute
presentations. This position offers exceptional clinical variety, including
exposure to a broad range of presentations and acute scenarios, supported by
highly experienced and well-respected mentors and supervisors. With over 20
years of continuous ownership by the same rural GP, St Luke’s Family Practice is
a welcoming, family-orientated workplace with strong community roots.
