Role Overview
Join the Ingham Health Service as a Senior Medical
Officer with advanced skills in Anaesthetics. Provide medical leadership
and high‑quality care across emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and maternity
services in a supportive rural hospital team, with opportunities to combine
advanced anaesthetic skills with broad clinical practice while maintaining
skills through tertiary backup at Townsville University Hospital.
This is an ideal role for Rural Generalists seeking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive community while continuing
professional growth.
Benefits
Flexible contracts – permanent or fixed-term up to 2 years
Generous remuneration package: $321K - $462K p.a. + super + incentives
Professional development leave (3.6 weeks/year) & 5 weeks annual leave
Salary packaging, motor vehicle & communication allowances
Relocation reimbursement up to $20,000
Plus additional benefits available including accommodation
Eligibility
Current AHPRA registration
FACRRM, FRACGP, FARGP, or FRACGP-RG preferred
Advanced skills in Anaesthetics (JCCA, Dip RGA, Advanced Certification)
