The Role As a GP VMO Supervisor, you’ll: - Mentor up to four registrars across the RACGP and
ACRRM pathways, providing clinical guidance and support.
- Provide GP services across our well-supported rural
centres.
- Offer on-call support at the local hospital, with the
chance to step into a Medical Coordinator role for the right candidate.
- Be part of our wider recruitment efforts to bring GP VMOs to rural Tasmania.

Everything is negotiable for the right candidate. You’ll Need - Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM.
- Current AHPRA registration (Specialist).
- Supervisor status (or eligibility) for RACGP/ACRRM.
- THS credentialing (or willingness to obtain it).
- ALS2 (or equivalent) and comfort in rural hospital settings.
