We’re looking for two passionate full-time GP VMO Supervisors to join our team in beautiful Tasmania. This is more than just a clinical role – it's an opportunity to mentor the next generation of rural doctors, shape the future of healthcare, and live life with flexibility, all set against Tasmania’s stunning backdrop.

The Role

As a GP VMO Supervisor, you’ll:

  • Mentor up to four registrars across the RACGP and ACRRM pathways, providing clinical guidance and support.
  • Provide GP services across our well-supported rural centres.
  • Offer on-call support at the local hospital, with the chance to step into a Medical Coordinator role for the right candidate.
  • Be part of our wider recruitment efforts to bring GP VMOs to rural Tasmania.

What’s On Offer

  • $2000 per day guarantee and competitive remuneration packages for the right candidate.
  • $2000 site visit grant and $10,000 relocation incentive through the People Project.
  • Protected teaching time at $200 per hour.
  • House and car package worth $60,000.
  • Leadership opportunities, rural incentives, college payments, and more.
  • DPA and MMM location benefits.

Adventure Awaits
Choose between:

  • 10 rounds of golf at the world-class Barnbougle Golf Course, or
  • A new mountain bike for the renowned Blue Derby Tracks.

Everything is negotiable for the right candidate.

You’ll Need

  •  Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM.
  • Current AHPRA registration (Specialist).
  • Supervisor status (or eligibility) for RACGP/ACRRM.
  • THS credentialing (or willingness to obtain it).
  • ALS2 (or equivalent) and comfort in rural hospital settings.
