experienced and passionate GP VMOs to join sites across regional and remote
Tasmania, including Smithton, St Marys, Scottsdale (now offering exciting
Supervisor roles for two GP VMOs – enquire now!), Queenstown, Campbell Town,
King Island, and Flinders Island. Each site offers a unique lifestyle—from
mountain villages to island living—while allowing you to practice true Rural
Generalism.
What
You'll Do: - Provide a full scope of care: GP
consults, ED and inpatient work, chronic disease management, preventative
care, and community health initiatives.
- Lead and support teams at the
Scottsdale site as a Supervisor, shaping clinical practice, mentoring junior
staff, and making a real impact on the community.

Flexible Rosters to Suit You:
Choose from flexible
rotations (e.g., 2 weeks on/off) or full-time rural relocation. We’ll work with
your ideal schedule.
Attractive Incentives:
- Up to $100K GP Incentive Package
over 5 years
- Accommodation + car valued at $60k
per annum
- % of billings plus guaranteed rate
when on-call
- WIP Payments – Up to $25k per
year
- $10k Relocation bonus through the
People Project
- Site visit grants available of up to
$2000 through the People Project
- Guaranteed income packages available
for FIFO contractors
Requirements:
- FRACGP/FACRRM or working towards
it
- ED/inpatient experience
- Passion for rural medicine
