Are you ready for true rural
generalism? We are seeking a PHO to join our multidisciplinary team in
the Central Highlands. This position provides high-quality inpatient and
outpatient medical services at Emerald and Blackwater Hospitals, with a strong
commitment to patient safety and continuous service improvement.
Diverse Scope of Practice
Dris a 36-bed facility with a clinical
scope that includes acute care, community health, and a significant maternity
service. You will work across multiple sites, including Blackwater and
Springsure MPHS, gaining exposure to emergency medicine, inpatient care, and
residential aged care. This is a premier environment for clinicians who thrive
on variety and clinical independence supported by senior medical staff.
Training & Mentorship
We are accredited for fellowship training
with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). You will be
encouraged to develop your skills in the theoretical and clinical aspects of
patient management while assisting in the support of medical students.
Your Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent enabling AHPRA registration.
- Current Life Support Qualifications (EMST, ACLS, APLS,
PALS, or EEM).
- Demonstrated clinical experience at the PHO level.
- A commitment to the principles of quality and clinical
review.
