medicine. As a Senior Medical Superintendent at Mount Morgan Multipurpose Health
Service, you will manage a diverse clinical caseload spanning emergency care,
acute inpatients, and aged care—all within a historic township just 30 minutes
from Rockhampton city. This position offers the clinical autonomy of a rural
service while remaining firmly connected to a major regional hub. Whether you
are providing life-saving emergency response or managing complex chronic

The Opportunity Clinical Variety: Lead a 20-bed MPHS providing
emergency, acute, palliative, and residential aged care. Best of Both Worlds: Live and work in the scenic
Mount Morgan ranges while staying just 39km from Rockhampton’s amenities
and airport. Professional Support: Work within a multidisciplinary
team with tele-pharmacy support and strong ties to Rockhampton Hospital. Total Package: Competitive remuneration up to $338,925 p.a.
(MSR2-2) inclusive of professional development and inaccessibility
allowances.
About You Qualifications: You hold an MBBS or equivalent and are eligible
for registration with AHPRA. Fellowship: Fellowship of either ACRRM or RACGP is highly
desirable. Skills: You possess advanced skills in Emergency Medicine (or a
commitment to complete AST/FARGP EM). Experience: You have demonstrated expertise in primary care,
emergency medicine, geriatrics, and mental health. Communication: You bring high-level interpersonal skills to
collaborate with diverse health agencies and community groups.
