For ACEM trainees, we are accredited for 24 months of ACEM Training, including paediatric logbook accreditation, and run a highly regarded Primary and Fellowship Exam preparation program supported by two consultants on the ACEM Board of Examiners.  Additional opportunities include ED Special Skills Ultrasound position, 6-month Anaesthetics rotation and potential medical specialty rotations.

For all registrars, we offer 5 hours of paid, protected teaching time each week, tailored to all experience levels and training stages, exam preparation support and study leave, a flexible roster to balance work and life and close mentorship from a passionate FACEM group.

  • Details of appointment:
    Fixed term full-time or part-time position, 1 and 2 year contracts available
  • Up to 76 hours per fortnight plus 10 hours (pro rata) paid education time
  • Commencing from 1 February 2027 to 6 February 2028
  • Earlier start dates may be available for successful candidates 

Salary
Medical Practitioner Level 5 - 11 $138,978 - $194,675 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging 

  • Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2025

In addition, the following allowances & benefit, calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available 

  • Salary packaging options include a range of benefits like living expenses up to $9,010 & $2,650 in meals and entertainment yearly
  • Travel and relocation assistance available up to $25,000 for interstate appointees.
