Overview:
Central Queensland Health invites
applications from dedicated Rural Generalists / Provisional Fellows to join
Biloela Hospital. This permanent position blends primary care, emergency
services, and advanced procedural obstetrics, offering an authentic rural
medicine framework backed by regional clinical networks.
Clinical & Community Context:
Biloela Hospital is a 25-bed facility
serving as the regional hub for the Callide Valley and Banana Shire. The
facility supports an active Midwifery Group Practice delivering evidence-based,
culturally competent care close to the community. Recent infrastructure
upgrades to the operating suites ensure a high-standard clinical environment.
Core Accountabilities: - Deliver primary and secondary rural
generalist medical care.
- Guide clinical governance frameworks
for maternity and emergency pathways.
- Deliver sessional outreach or
telehealth support across the health service network.
Qualifications: Candidates must hold an MBBS or
equivalent, registration with the Medical Board of Australia, and FACRRM/FRACGP
credentials (or current registrar pathway enrolment). Advanced procedural
skills such as DRANZCOG (Advanced) or JCCA are highly desirable.
Benefits: - Total remuneration package up to
$534,437 p.a. (L25).
