About the Role - Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred primary care
in a well-established rural general practice.
- Opportunity to undertake Visiting Medical Officer
(VMO) work at the local hospital.
- Manage a broad range of acute, chronic and
preventative health conditions across all age groups.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive
multidisciplinary team with strong links to Tamworth and regional specialist
services.
- Participate in the teaching, supervision and
mentoring of medical students, GP registrars and junior medical officers
through established university and training partnerships.

Essential
Requirements - Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the
Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM (or
eligibility).
- A commitment to high-quality rural healthcare and
community engagement.
- An interest in teaching, mentoring and supporting the
future rural medical workforce.
- VMO eligibility or willingness to obtain credentialing is
desirable.
