most unique clinical environments? Kununurra offers a genuinely broad and
rewarding scope of practice, where your skills in emergency medicine and/or
obstetrics will have a direct and meaningful impact on remote
communities.

For
Procedural (Obstetrics) practitioners, you’ll maintain and develop skills
in:
- Emergency caesarean sections
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Maternity care in a rural generalist
setting
Clinical Support and Environment: You’ll be part of a well-supported rural
generalist model, with;
- A collaborative team of experienced
DMO and visiting specialists
- Access to telehealth support,
retrieval service, and tertiary escalation pathways
- Opportunities to supervise, mentor,
and contribute to service development

autonomy is balanced with strong team support – you're trusted to lead, but
never isolated.

Remuneration: - DMO Procedural (Obstetrics) - MP
Year 1- 3: $550,858.26 - $602,976.32
- Rural Generalist - Year 1 - 6:
$550,859.38 - $684,457.01
The Successful will hold: - Specialist registration with AHPRA
without restrictions.
- Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM
Formal post graduate qualification in obstetrics or
equivalent extensive experience. - A record of appropriate
Emergency Department skill maintenance in the last triennium: ACLS / APLS
/ EMST / GCCA (or equivalent).
