This is a unique opportunity to shape
rural generalist Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice in Aotearoa NZ and doing so
light a path for a new wave of rural generalist medicine in NZ!! As a Rural Generalist Obstetrician (RGO) or General practice Obstetrician (GPO), you will provide integrated specialist obstetric and womens health care across hospital and community settings, supporting safe, sustainable maternity services throughout the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Working across
hospital and primary care services, you will deliver comprehensive maternity and
womens health care while contributing to rural generalist acute care and/or
community-based General Practice. This role offers the opportunity to work
collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, strengthen integrated models of
care, and support continuity of care for women and whānau throughout their
