About the
role: - Support 150+ patients and families
across the Rockhampton region through community-based specialist Palliative
Care.
- Connect hospital and community care,
with an experienced Nurse Practitioner working across both settings and
specialist consultation available throughout Rockhampton Hospital.
- Provide dedicated inpatient care for
symptom management and end-of-life care on the Palliative Care and Cancer Care
ward.
- Build stronger regional partnerships
with Fitzroy Community Hospice, Gladstone, Emerald and Capricorn Coast
Hospital to create a more connected model of care.
- Shape a unified regional service,
with medical leadership, multidisciplinary collaboration and specialist
Palliative Care delivered across CQ Health’s multiple sites.
About
you: - Staff Specialist: Registration or eligibility for registration as a
Specialist in Palliative Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner
Agency (AHPRA). This will require Fellowship of the Australian Chapter of
Palliative Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FAChPM – RACP).
Applicants with extensive experience in palliative medicine may also be
considered.
- Senior Medical Officer: Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in General Practice with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). This will require Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Australia College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) with extensive experience in Palliative Medicine.
* Enrolment
and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies.
* MBBS or equivalent eligible
for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to
$562,473 p.a. is comprised of: - A salary rate between $265,550 -
$281,545 p.a. (L25 – L27)
- A salary rate between $222,059 -
$257,932 p.a. (L18 – L24)
- A salary rate between $192,257 -
$265,550 p.a. (L13 – L25)
- A salary rate between $192,257 -
$198,273 p.a. (L13 – L14)
- 12.75% employer superannuation
contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
