About us: Moura
Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS)
is at the heart of healthcare
for the Dawson Valley, providing accessible, local care to the rural
communities, families, workers and older residents who call the region home. As
a key health hub within the Banana Shire, the service plays an important role
in supporting a diverse agricultural and resource-based community, where access
to care close to home can make a significant difference.
The service is also growing alongside the community, with an
eight-bed residential aged care extension currently under construction and
further facility upgrades underway. This investment will strengthen the future
of healthcare in Moura and help ensure older community members can continue to
receive quality care close to their families, homes and support networks.
