Network is seeking multiple Rural Generalists to join the Medical Unit at Port
Lincoln Hospital - roles where your scope of practice is broad, your
contribution is visible, and the community you serve will know your
name. Your Role at Port Lincoln Hospital
Embedded within the
EFNLHN Port Lincoln Hospital Medical Services, you will deliver high-standard
general medicine care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Key
responsibilities include: - Delivering clinical services to
General Medicine patients, providing both direct care and leadership within a
multidisciplinary team
- Practising in accordance with SA
Health, Eyre and Far North LHN, and Port Lincoln Hospital policies and
frameworks
- Actively teaching trainee medical
officers, interns, medical students, and nursing and allied health
staff
- Contributing to clinical audit, quality improvement, safety, and clinical risk management activities, and participating in research and continuing medical education
What You
Bring - Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of
Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian
College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian
College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), or equivalent specialist
qualification
- Current or eligible specialist
registration with the Medical Board of Australia in General Practice
- Eligibility for credentialling by
the relevant SA Health Credentialling Committee at a level appropriate to this
role
- Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and clinical teaching in a rural or regional context
