experienced Rural Generalists, GP Anaesthetists and GP Obstetricians for a range
of locum opportunities at Deniliquin Health Service in southern NSW. With excellent daily rates, no on-call
for the advertised shifts (subject to final roster confirmation) and flexible
booking blocks through to March 2027, this is a fantastic opportunity to combine
rewarding rural medicine with an attractive roster. What's on
Offer? - $3,000–$3,500 per day, depending on
specialty and booking
- No on-call for advertised shifts,
subject to confirmation
- Flexible Emergency Medicine blocks
across October 2026 – March 2027
- Emergency Medicine shifts: 0800–1800
or 1600–0200
- Dedicated GP Obstetrics and GP

Multiple blocks available:
October 2026: ASAP–19, 20–25, 21–22 and 25 October
November 2026: 11–16 November
December 2026: Multiple blocks from 30 November through Christmas and New Year
January 2027: Multiple blocks throughout the month
February 2027: Weekly and shorter blocks available
March 2027: Multiple
blocks through to 28 March
GP Obstetrics
9–16 November 2026
An opportunity for an appropriately qualified GP
Obstetrician to support essential rural maternity care.
GP Anaesthetics
23–29 November 2026
A dedicated locum placement for an appropriately qualified
GP Anaesthetist.

Deniliquin is a welcoming regional town situated on the Edward River in southern NSW, close to the Victorian border.
It's surprisingly accessible:
- Melbourne: Approximately 3.5 hours
by car
- Echuca/Moama: Approximately 1
